Upon arriving at the Holly Cottage, my family and I were warmly welcomed by the hosts, who gave us a thorough tour of the clean and well-equipped accommodation. One of the highlights of our visit was the family-friendly entertainment options available at the cottage. the living room featured a TV with freeview and a DAB radio, keeping both the adults and children in our group entertained during our downtime. the abundance of local information provided in the living room helped us plan our days out exploring the charming town of Richmond. Despite its close proximity to Richmond market place, the cottage is situated across the river on the opposite bank. While the location offers a peaceful retreat, it does require navigating a steep hill down to the river and a challenging uphill walk to reach the town center. This is worth considering for families with young children or individuals with mobility issues. the clean and well-equipped accommodation, coupled with the family-friendly entertainment options and beautiful views, made for a memorable stay. We would highly recommend this cottage to fellow travelers seeking a comfortable and welcoming retreat in the picturesque town of Richmond.
